Pacquiao vs Marquez 3

I think we are all excited about the third clash between pound-for-pound boss Manny Pacquiao and undisputed lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez, but would the fight be worth to watch? Pacquiao and Marquez tangled with each other at featherweight and super featherweight, with the first one ending in a bloody draw and the second in a close split decision. Both fights are controversial in the eyes of the boxing world. In the process, Pacquiao vs Marquez developed a rivalry that stands to be a classic and deserves to be in the record book.

After their last March 15, 2008, Pacquiao vs Marquez went on separate ways but not far from each other. Both men never strayed away from each other’s orbit. Juan Manuel Marquez always call Pacquiao to fight him once again but Pacquiao denied him several times. In a sense, people view them as each other’s equal, a huge reason why both men should trade leather for one more time. The Filipino champ fought his division after divisions, stopping men who are presumably stronger and bigger, and became the only boxer to win eight titles in eight different classes, the only Asian to win crowns in the welterweight and light middleweight divisions, and the only fighter with four lineal titles to his name.

Can the Mexican keep up with Pacquiao’s youth advantage? One does not need to be a rocket scientist to see through this one, although sometimes, age can easily become a non-vital variable. Will the boxing world see another third classic match and perhaps a final clash between the two rivals? Marquez have shown he is up to the challenge and with Mexican pride at stake, revenge (and retirement money) is more than enough fuel to prep him up for the match.
